For the third year the Bower House Inn rocked to the sound of live music for the two day B-Fest. Started three years ago by Chris Webb the owner of the Bower, the festival gets bigger and better every year. This year for example, the adjacent field was opened up for camping to give the festival a mini Glastonbury feel. The weather didnt disapoint either with the rain of friday turning the field into the traditional mudbath. However, this did nothing to dampen the spirits of the festival goers and the event was a fantastic success. All the bands give their time free and the proceeds from the event go to the First Responders and Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team. Well done to Chris, Christine, Roy and all the Bower staff for all the hard work which made the festival such a success. Make a date for next year 2nd and 3rd Aug 2008
